Its May, the Winter is over, the flocks of tourists have dwindled and the waves have been pumping! The South has lit up the last 7 days. We love South swells!
Brandons, Drill Hall beach has been solid and everyone is getting their fair share of waves dawn till dusk. Freights has been perfect for surf lessons with few bigger days for intermediate to advanced surfers. One thing that's nice about Freights is that its always protected from the wind.
May and June are great months for a surf trip. Accommodation and car rental rates drop for the 'off season'. Winter is our busy season where tourist from all over come to get away from the cold. Not just surfers! Barbados is a big tourist destination.
